Storefront glass, used by stores to showcase their products, must be security glass. Therefore, laminated glass should be preferred over single glass for storefronts. Additionally, laminated glass has UV filtering properties, which helps delay the fading of displayed products. To enhance security in storefront glass, laminated glass made with special materials such as SentryGlasXTRA (SGP) should be used. As an authorized SentryGlasXTRA (SGP) manufacturer, Alcam can produce laminated glass at all necessary security levels. For projects where reflections are undesirable, Alcam produces laminated glass using anti-reflective glass to eliminate reflections. Our products are manufactured in compliance with TS EN 12543 standards and are tested in Alcam Laboratories.

For standard storefront glass production, Alcam uses laminated glass with Trosifol Ultra Clear PVB. For increased security requirements, Hard PVB or SentryGlasXtra (SGX) is used. Alcam also produces high-quality glass solutions for noise insulation and non-reflective needs. Trosifol acoustic PVB is used for noise insulation, and anti-reflective laminated glass is employed to eliminate unwanted reflections. By laminating anti-reflective coated glass and using Trosifol Ultra Clear as the interlayer, it is possible to reduce light reflection from 8% to 1%. Thanks to the PVB interlayer, it filters UV rays from the sun, ensuring that displayed products maintain their colors for a longer period.
