Padel Glass

Padel glass is used in the panels surrounding padel courts. Tempered glass is used for the walls of padel courts to withstand the impacts from players and to meet safety expectations.

At Alcam, the production process for padel glass involves tempering flat glass with thicknesses of 10mm and 12mm according to TS EN 12150-1 standards. This process increases the strength of the glass fivefold compared to regular annealed glass. After tempering, upon request, a Heat Soak Test (HST) is applied according to TS EN 12179-1 to eliminate the risk of unexpected breakages due to NiS inclusions.
