Anti-reflective laminated glass is produced using two AR (anti-reflective) coated glass panes. The primary purpose of this glass is to provide safety and durability while reducing light reflections and glare. Storefronts and museums are the main areas where anti-reflective laminated glass is preferred.

Alcam’s Expertise and Experience in This Product

In the lamination process, two or more glass panes are bonded under high heat and pressure, with an interlayer placed between them. These interlayers can be PVB or ionoplast (SGX). The anti-reflective glass used in the lamination has a special AR coating on both sides to minimize reflections. In the climate-controlled lamination room, where temperature and humidity are constantly monitored, the glass with PVB or SGP interlayers undergoes preheating and bonding. Afterward, they are laminated in autoclave furnaces under appropriate heat and pressure based on the glass type, thickness, and interlayer material.
